What is Acne - September 21st, 2009

Acne is hormones interacting with oil glands in your skin. With all the information out there on what can get rid of acne, or how acne can affect a person, I wanted to know what exactly acne is and how we get it. I guess, I figure, if I know more of how we get it, or what causes it, I will know more on how to get rid of it, and what products will work best. This is what I learned. Now, the hormones interact with the oil glands. The oil gets absorbed in the skin’s surface and gets trapped. Then, bacteria grows and creates bumps. As you know, the bumps will be different sizes, different colors, and even have different textures.

Now, to me, that does not sound to bad or hard to understand. You wouldn’t think after hearing that, it would be so hard to get rid of. However, those so called bumps are stubborn and hard to get rid of. Those bumps have created so many products out there to be created just to get rid of them. The bumps that are caused by hormones and oil glands have created a huge money making industry on how to fight them. So my question still is, which product is going to make the cut and get rid of my acne?
